Clegg Gifford has decades of experience in placing bike insurance policies and many bikers choose to add their bikes onto a policy which enables them to also include their cars, vans and other commercial vehicles. Scooters can be covered on a Comprehensive; Third Party, Fire & Theft; and Third party only basis.
Comprehensive policies cover you for the damage to your bike, subject to an excess applied to the policy.
The next level of cover, Third Party, Fire & Theft covers you for repair or replacement of your Motorcycle if it is damaged by fire, theft or if it is stolen.
And third party liability covers you for the damage you cause to others and the costs for injury to other people or damage to their property.
You can add your bike to the same policy as your car and van under our uniquely flexible family fleet policy. This policy can be started as simply as insuring a bike and then as your other vehicles come up for renewal – you can add them to one policy.
This includes preserving your individual policy extensions for instance by limiting the drivers on the bike to yourself only, or reversely – you can add family members to drive all vehicles, or a combination of the above.

They will be able to walk you through the options on getting a quote for your motorbike insurance, but also more generally your wider vehicle insurance requirements.
Furthermore you can add several bikes to the same policy, which should see you save money – for you can’t ride them all at once so why take out individual insurance policies, which usually rate on the basis of single use only and don’t usually factor in that many bikes won’t (and physically can’t!) be in use at the same time.
